Packaging Design

Birdhouse Bakery & Cafe

[/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”transparent” thickness=”0″ up=”30″ down=”0″][vc_column_text]The Packaging design brief allowed me to utilise not only my creative skills but also my technical ability.  The brief was to produce a mockup with a rationale that justifies my design decisions as well as the sustainability of the product (economically, socially and environmentally).

My packaging design solution for an ethical bakery concept in Peregian Beach was to utilise the local areas street names, which are all named after birds that are native to the area. The design was then printed on recyclable butchers paper and used to wrap the bread, thus reducing the use of plastic bag waste.
